This public health talk is jointly organized with Lions Club of Ipoh Bougainvillaea City and
Leo Club of Ipoh Unity. Co-Organized by Olympia College, Ipoh and sponsored by GlaxoSmith
Kline. The speaker for this talk is by Dr Sharifah Halimah, Consultant O & G Specialist from
Ipoh Specialist Hopsital.
The purpose of organizing this project is to create awareness among women regarding
cervical cancer affecting ladies. In Malaysia, it is second most common cancer affecting women
and everyday 2 women die of cervical cancer. Our Malaysia government already starts HPV
vaccination for 13 years old female students only. It show that our Malaysia government realize
the importance of protect females.

: 3.45pm – Cervical Cancer Vaccination
Venue: Auditorium (Level 2) of Olympia College, Ipoh
Entrance Fee: Free with door gift and refreshment provided
Vaccination Fee: RM 160 per injection for 1st dose (Must register before 27th October 2010)
(Total 3 course injections)
-1st injection will be conveyed on the day and payment is required
-2nd and 3rd course injections can be taken at respective clinics or hospitals
Dress Code: Semi Formal or Club Vest / T-Shirt
