28.09.12 Mooncake Festival at Compassion Home for Kids

 On the 28th of September, the Leo Club of ACG Benevolent Unity visited the Compassion Home for Kids to celebrate mooncake festival with them. Upon arrival,we were greeted warmly by the caretaker, Mr George and all the other kids living in the home. We first served them dinner which was all cooked by members of our club. Then, we also washed up the plates for them.

After washing up, we played two games with the kids.One was the cream cheetos game and the other was pass the chips games. They all had fun.

After an exhilarating game session, we came to the highlight of the nights which is the lantern night walk. We also did Gangnam Style as a request by the kids from the home.

Soon, it was time to leave. We took some group shots with the kids. We hope that all the kids in the home be happy always :)

Region 7 and 8 Installation 2012/13

On the 19th of August, our club organised a joint installation with Leo Club of Subang Utama, Leo Club of SMK USJ 4, Leo Club of SM Sri Kuala Lumpur, Leo Club of SMK Seksyen 4 Bandar Kinrara , Leo Club of SMK USJ 8.

This installation proceeded smoothly. There were many performances and 2 of the performers for the day were our dear members of ACGBU. However, the highlight of this installation was definitely the Oppa Gangnam Style dance performed by the committee of this event. The comical dance moves sure brought a lot of laughter among the Lions and Leos alike.

Lastly, our club wants to wish all the installed members and board members good luck and may their term serving as a leo be a happy and fruitful one  :)

Flight tickets to Langkawi for the forum are available but be quick! Or else you'll have to buy your own ticket and get your own passport picture. If you inform Lam Ai Ping now, you'll just have to hand her your money for the forum and email her a picture if you don't have your passport picture! She'll crop it for you don't worry =DD
